Yes. You can have professional drive and a bedtime routine.

What do you do when you find yourself getting pulled between two realities–your professional drive and your hunger to be more present with your kids. What if you want to pause? Or shift altogether? There are no guidebooks for this moment– just the hard-earned stories of parents who’ve been there.

I’m one of them. My name is Kaleana Quibell, and I’m here to share my journey, lessons, and what it takes to create a fulfilling, flexible career that works for you and your family.
Success isn’t just climbing ladders. It’s building the life you want for your family.

I didn’t imagine I’d stop working. But the model stopped working for me.

I’ve always been deeply committed to my career. I’ve worked hard, avoided job-hopping, and loved being someone people could rely on. But then, motherhood changed the game. Suddenly, my presence was needed 24/7 in two places—work and home.
After the birth of my second child, I made the tough decision to leave my role, not because I wanted to stop working, but because the existing model wasn’t sustainable. Since then, I've redefined what work means for me as a parent, and now I'm out to help others understand their options too.

Resources for parents

Let’s reimagine career paths. This time with stroller ramps.

It’s not about giving up ambition. It’s about shaping it to fit your life.

Stay

Maybe you want to continue working in your current role, but seek more support, better benefits, and flexible hours. Or maybe you want to work at the same company in a more part-time capacity. So many parents desire reduced work, but just don't think it's possible in their role or industry. Hear from others who did it, and find the resources you need to support your case.
Stories & tips

Shift

Maybe you want to transition to a new role, or experiment with fractional, freelance or consulting work on your terms. The journey to self-employment can be very daunting, but it's entirely possible to build an emotionally and financially fulfilling career on your own. Learn how others have done it and how to get started.
Stories & tips

Step Away

Maybe you want to take a temporary or long-term break from work altogether. But how do you pause the career & not the potential? Maybe you need ways to stay up on your skills and return with confidence. Discover resources and hear from parents who have paused and returned and how they did it.
Stories & tips
Start by asking the right questions

Is it possible to honor a commitment to work and our families?

What if work didn’t have to be all-or-nothing?

Could part-time roles or adjusted hours actually retain more talent?

How can companies keep ambitious parents in the room?

Let’s make work (actually) work for parents.

I also collaborate with companies to create more flexible, parent-friendly policies & support systems, and with parents to share stories and strategies that can help navigate the next steps.
